Brewers extended the contract of Doug Melvin yesterday. His first decision was to get Sveum out of town. Kind of feel bad for the guy. I don't really see any reason why we wouldn't retain him. They say Melvin wants a more experienced playoff ready manager I guess. I personally think experience is the most overrated stat in sports. I hate it. I was about to start listing reasons why but I thought of way too many examples and don't want to take the time to write them down. I can see the argument for a change just for change sake. I'd like to shake something up this off season, the end of the past two has been too similar. Hopefully we bring in a new manager who can fix all that.
I hate saturdays. Mainly because I have to work every Saturday and I can't stand college football. I also ate a can of chef boyardee right before bed last night. Literally like 5 minutes before falling asleep. Terrible idea. I didn't know food can give you a hangover. I'm gonna go kill some zombie bug type creatures in Gears of War! Wish me luck.
