Back and bored

I've returned to Milwaukee after my ever so exciting stint in Door County. I once read in a magazine that door county is the cape cod of the midwest. Never been to cape cod. Honestly, i don't even know where it is. I think it's by boston or something. I do know one thing though. It has to suck. Might of enjoyed it a little more if i wasn't sitting in a restaurant 95% of the summer. Made a chunk of money though. Can't complain about that. In other news, trying to find work here. No one is hiring, being in my apartment sucks.... maybe I could use that masters degree I got? no not yet.
Now sports. Brewers blew it, braun did get rookie of the year though. For some reason it was close. Packers are an incredible 9-1 and look like a viable superbowl contender. If we win the next two games we pretty much have a lock on a first round bye. I did not think that would happen this year. I just woke up and watched this entire espn first take show. It is a horrible show that I watch every morning. I don't know why I do. I spend two hours watching this abomination hoping to hear news on the packers. Then whenever they say something about the packers they tell me something I already know. That or piss me off by telling me that 5 other teams are better than them. The patriots.... I hate them. I have never seen a more boring dominant team ever. Can their fans even like watching their games? the things are over in the first 5 minutes. Then tom brady, he's so cute!!!! OPINION!!!--- I have seen few people make jokes on sports broadcasts about tom brady fathering these illegitimate children. then everyone freaks out acting like those comments are way out of line. This marks the first time ever I will use the race card. I heard 1000 comments about shawn kemp(or is it sean??? doesn't seem the irish type). Travis Henry has been the brunt of a few jokes in the off season. But oh god, don't say it about the white.... I mean golden boy! tom brady. I do not like him.
Vaction!- The lady and I took some time off and headed to my old stompin grounds -- fort collins, colorado. it was cool to get back there, absolutely love the area. Did some hiking, ate some big city burritos, TON of driving, ate way too many liverwurst sandwiches(for some reason I chose that as my one and only lunch meat for the trip), then we drove way farther. Surprised grandma and grandpa and ate dinner with them in cincinatti. Had a great time there, good to see everyone again. Stayed at greg and megan's place. I was definetly impressed. Then we finally drove back to milwaukee. It's amazing how a drive from cincinatti to milwaukee can seem like nothing. We put 3000 something miles on that car. that is a lot.
Good to be back in milwaukee. Rock on.
I hope I update this often, I like this blog stuff.
